Moving can be stressful, but with Scarlet, we make it as easy as possible. Take your internet subscription with you, with no hassle and no hidden costs. Stay connected in your new home from day one.

It's important that you let us know about your move 5 weeks in advance so that we can plan an installation on the date that suits you best. If you let us know later, we'll do our utmost to ensure that your move is completed on time.

Follow these three steps for your move!

  1. Let us know in advance

    Inform us of your move at least five weeks in advance. This will enable us to plan the move at a time that suits you. If you let us know later, we’ll do our best to organize your transfer as quickly as possible.  

  2. Receive confirmation of your move

    Once you have submitted your move request, you will receive an e-mail confirming all the details. You will also find this information in the MyScarlet app.

  3. Choose your installation method
    • Prefer to install it yourself? We’ll send the DIY kit to your home, and you can install your products in around 30 minutes thanks to our simple online instructions.
    • Prefer to leave it to a technician? That’s possible too. You choose the solution that suits you best. Fees may apply in the event of a technician visit.

Yes. Both new and existing customers can choose their installation method when moving, if this option is available at their address.

You can choose between two options:

  • DIY installation: you will receive an SMS with the date from which you can install your products yourself. Online installation guides are also available to help you step by step.
  • Technician installation: prefer not to do it yourself? In that case, you can choose to have a technician install your products for you.

Yes, as soon as your products are activated, we automatically change your billing address to match your new address. However, you can change it yourself from your MyScarlet account.

Make sure you take all the components of your current installation (modem, TV box and wireless solution if you have one) and their cables with you. If you have chosen to install your products yourself, you will need to reinstall the same devices in your new home.

However, if the installation is carried out by a technician, he or she will come to your home on the date you have selected to reinstall everything.

The cost of a technician's intervention at your request is €79. In some cases, installation may also be free, depending on the technical situation at your address.

Here are the 3 scenarios that will determine whether or not you need to pay the installation fees:

  • Self-installation is possible and you choose to do it
    We will send you the equipment to install along with a letter indicating the date on which you can proceed with the installation. In this case, no technician intervenes and no installation fees are charged.
  • Self-installation is possible but you prefer a technician's intervention
    We will schedule an appointment with a technician on the date that suits you best. The installation fee of €79 will then be charged on the very first invoice.
  • Self-installation is not possible at your address
    A technician will come to your home to perform the installation. This intervention is covered by Scarlet and no installation fees will be charged to you.

The activation fee of €29 applies regardless of the installation chosen.
