How to perform a factory reset on my V5c decoder?

Resetting the decoder restores the factory settings. Always try to reboot your decoder first by turning the switch on the back to the '0' position, then the 'I' position. If this does not help, a reset is recommended.
To reset your decoder, follow these steps:

• Locate the switch at the back of the decoder and turn it to the '0' position.

• Using a pointed object (such as a ballpoint pen, paper clip or toothpick), press and hold the Reset button. Now turn the switch to the 'I' position and keep the reset button pressed for about 15 seconds.

• When the update screen appears, you can release the reset button.

It may take up to 30 minutes for the decoder to reboot. The decoder will then be reset to the factory settings.
