How do I reset my b-box 3 to factory settings?

Proceed as follows:

  • Press and hold the reset button (RST) at the back of the modem for 15 seconds (for instance, with the tip of a pen). When all the LEDs at the front of the modem light up and then go out again, this is proof that the reset is complete.

  • You will find the name and password of your Wi-Fi connection on the sticker underneath the modem (just above the base):

There are 2 wireless networks:

  • A 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network: this network is supported by all devices but is also used by everyone, which can cause disruptions when several wireless networks are in close proximity to each other. This network has a slower upload speed but a better long distance range.
  • A 5.0 GHz Wi-Fi network: this network can only be used if your device (laptop, mobile phone, tablet, etc.) supports a 5.0 GHz Wi-Fi network. This network has a faster upload speed but inferior long distance range.
  • Choose the wireless connection you normally use. If you aren't quite sure which one to choose, preferably use the 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network. You will find the name of the Wi-Fi connection to select next to "SSID". Wireless Key is the password for the wireless connection.
