What are the standard settings used by Scarlet for e-mail?
For incoming e-mail, you are free to use either POP3 or IMAP , both of which are active by default. If you check your e-mails from multiple devices, we recommend using IMAP.
- Server for incoming e-mail (POP3): pop.scarlet.be Door: 995 (SSL enabled)
- Incoming mail server (IMAP): imap.scarlet.be Door: 993 (SSL enabled)
For outgoing e-mails, it is best to use a secure connection (SSL) if you are using several devices outside, so that you can also send e-mails from a connection of another provider. Make sure you also activate the option "my server requires authentication" and enter the username and password of your mailbox.
