Deactivate mobile data

When you are connected to a Wi-Fi network, it is not necessary to keep your mobile internet active. This can lead to unwanted data consumption and, in some cases, incur additional costs.

Below we explain how to completely disable mobile data consumption.

  • Open Settings.
  • Tap on Mobile service.
  • Move the switch next to Mobile service to the left.

You’re now disconnected from the mobile data network.
When you’re not connected to a Wi-Fi network, make sure to turn mobile data back on if needed by switching it back to the right.

  • Open Settings.
  • Tap on Connections, then on Data usage.
  • Move the switch next to Mobile data to the left.

You’re now disconnected from the mobile data network.
If you’re no longer connected to a Wi-Fi network, make sure to reactivate mobile data by moving the switch back to the right.
