What are the default settings for Scarlet Internet ADSL?

The default settings for Scarlet Internet ADSL are:

• Protocol: PPPoE
• Encapsulation: LLC
• VPI: 8
• ICV: 35

Your username and password can be found on the confirmation mail you received after registration. Your username always ends with @SCARLET.

When installing your modem, please note the following:

• If you have more than one telephone socket: connect your modem to the telephone socket through which the phone line enters your home. Usually, this socket is located on the first floor or in the cellar on the street side.
• The distance between your modem and the telephone socket: preferably do not use a telephone cable (RJ-11) longer than 2 meters. Use the standard cable supplied with your modem.
• Connect the ADSL filter to the telephone socket before making any other connections to the telephone socket. An ADSL filter is provided by default with most modems.
