How to make my V4 remote universal?
Do you have a Samsung TV? If you have a Samsung TV, your remote already works on your TV.
If you do not have a Samsung TV, follow these steps:
- Turn on your television.
- Press the 1 and 3 buttons simultaneously and hold for 3 seconds until the TV key (in the top left) goes on.
Each television brand and model has a code made up of numbers. You can let your remote automatically find the right code or check the list of codes and enter the code yourself.
- Automatic procedure: keep the on-off TV button pressed until your TV is switched off. Then release the key. This takes a few minutes.
- Manual procedure: enter the code of your television. The codes of the main brands are: Bang & Olufsen (3314), Grundig (4162), LG (4628), Loewe (4660), Panasonic (5153), Philips (5195), Samsung (5448), Sharp (5550), Sony (5679) et Pioneer (5212). Check the full list here ici.
- Keep the on-off TV button pressed.
- Release the button when your TV turns off.
- Then press the TV Mode (bottom right) and Digital TV (top right) buttons simultaneously.
Your remote is now universal. You can test your remote by turning the volume up or down, selecting an external source with the EXT button or turning the TV on or off with the TV on/off key.
