My remote control doesn't work

Make sure the decoder is turned on. Is the decoder's power cable properly plugged in? If your decoder has a switch on the back, is it turned on?

  • Test the remote near the decoder. If your decoder is in a cabinet, the cabinet wall may interfere with the signal between the decoder and the remote control. Make sure that your decoder is clear during this test.
  • Remove the batteries from your remote control and put them back in.

Still running into the issue? Replace the old batteries with new ones.

Restore the remote control's factory settings:

  • Press and hold the 1 and 6 buttons simultaneously for 3 seconds until the TV LED stays red.
  • Then press 9, 8 and 1 and wait until the TV LED goes out.
  • Your remote is now reset.
