How to reset my Devolo (PLC adapter)?

Please follow the instructions below to reset your CPL adapter. Reset is recommended when:

• The LED is not green if you have a CPL with 3 LEDs.
• The LED is red on a CPL with 1 LED.

Reset

Reset CPL adapter with 1 LED

• Leave the CPL adapters plugged in to the power supply and press the button on the side of each CPL adapter for at least 12 seconds. The LED should go out.
• Unplug the CPL adapters.

Reset CPL adapter with 3 LEDs

• Leave the CPL adapters plugged in to the power supply and press the button next to the cable input for about 20 seconds (until the power LED starts flashing). Do this on the 2 CPL adapters in any order.
• Unplug the CPL adapters from the power sockets.

Synchronization

Below, you will find the steps to follow to synchronize your CPL adapters.

CPL adapter with 1 LED

• Remove the cables plugged in the CPL.
• Plug them in a power socket, preferably in the same room.
• Keep the button on the side of each of the CPL adapters pressed for 1 second.
• Wait until the LED indicator is solid white again. Your CPL adapters are now synchronized.
• Plug them back in wherever you want and do not forget to plug the cables back in.

CPL adapter with 3 LEDs

• Remove the cables plugged in the CPL.
• Plug the two CPL adapters in two power sockets, preferably in the same room.
• Keep the button next to the cable input of each CPL adapter pressed for 1 second. As soon as the house LED lights up and stays green, the configuration is complete and you can plug the devices back in at their original spot without forgetting to plug in the cables.
