TV Box V5c

You can start recording a program in progress as follows:

  • Press the REC key on your remote control. The recording starts immediately.
  • Press the OK button on your remote control and select enregistrer. The recording starts immediately.

This recording will have the default settings and will therefore stop 20 minutes after the end of the program.

Proximus TV for Scarlet allows you to watch one program and record others at the same time (except for series recording).

Unfortunately, it is not possible to schedule a remote recording with Proximus TV for Scarlet, as we do not offer this service.

A recording conflict may occur when you attempt to record multiple programs simultaneously.

First of all, you must be able to program simultaneous recordings on the channels concerned.

The first scheduled recording is always stored on your decoder's hard disk and is not considered a simultaneous recording. If you want to record a channel that is not in the list of channels that you can record simultaneously, you just need to program this recording as the first recording. To do this, you must first delete both recordings via Menu > mes enregistrements > planifié.

If the recording conflict remains, select the program you wish to record and choose conserver. If you don't make a choice, the system will ignore your last scheduled recording.

Whether or not you can watch one program while recording another also depends on the technical specifications of the line. Please contact our customer serviceOpens a new window to check if this option is available.

Press the key pvr_FR, choose recordings and select the program whose retention time you want to know. The availability of your recording is indicated below the title.

Since your decoder does not have a hard disk, your recordings are saved on the network. It is therefore not possible to keep a recording permanently.

Do you want to keep a recording for more than 60 days? In this case, choose the long-term retention option:

  • Press the button pvr_FR
  • Select recordings.
  • Select the recording you want to keep for an extended period and click OK.
  • Select keep longer and confirm.
  • Your recording is now available for 36 months. You can keep up to 50 hours of long-term recordings.

Please note: this option is only available after the program has been recorded.

Please note that as of June 11, 2024, it will no longer be possible to keep a recording for more than 60 days. However, recordings that you have kept for a long-term before June 11, 2024, will still be available until June 30, 2025.

  • Press the Menu key
  • Use the arrow keys to navigate to my library and press OK.
Tip: To access your library directly, use the PVR button on your remote control.
    pvr_FR
  • Select Recordings. The list of recorded programs appears on the right of the screen.
