Check the barrings

Check MyScarlet to see if your number is blocked. This can cause problems when calling abroad.

Open the MyScarlet app and click on Products.

Select the mobile phone number experiencing problems and press Settings.
Check whether any of the following blockages are present:

  • Call, text and surf only within the EU
  • Block calls abroad
  • Block surfing abroad: this option also blocks MMS messages
  • Block SMS sending

If this is the case, it's probably the reason why your services weren't working abroad. You can remove blocks by moving the cursor to the left.

The change takes effect as soon as you receive an SMS confirmation.

Log in to MyScarlet.

Click on the mobile phone number experiencing problems.

Scroll down to Settings and Blocking.
