Additional work is required. What does it mean?

There are 2 cases in which additional work is required to carry out your connection:

  • Your home does not yet have a telephone connection. We are talking about infrastructure. Your telephone connection must not be active with another operator.
  • An existing operator is already active on your line, but you forgot to indicate this when you registered. Since the existing line is already in use, some additional work is required to establish a new line. In this case, contact our customer serviceOpens a new window so that we can recover the line from your current operator.

If no telephone connection exists, this will be established after registration or during the technician's visit. A request for additional work will follow. This is usually excavation or wiring work required to carry out the telephone connection in your home. In some cases, the law stipulates that municipal approval is required. Several weeks may then pass before work can begin. There are no additional costs associated with this extra work.

A few days after the work is completed, a technician will come by to perform the installation.
